Job Title: Associate Business Systems Analyst

Overview:

Thrivent Financial is seeking an entry-level Associate Business Systems Analyst to join its growing team. This role bridges the gap between business operations and IT, ensuring systems and processes align to support internal functions effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent data handling skills, and a desire to work in a highly regulated and service-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a liaison between business teams and IT, ensuring clear communication of system needs and process updates.
• Support case consultations and provide assistance to front-line team members.
• Perform data entry and comparison tasks with high accuracy and efficiency.
• Gather and compile data from various sources to support reporting and compliance needs.
• Update documentation, deliver training sessions, and perform quality reviews.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and organizational standards.
• Assist with compliance and audit reviews through data support and analysis.
• Format and manage business documents using best practices and internal standards.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field.
• 0–2+ years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (minimum 2 years’ experience).
• At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Business BASIC or similar tools.
• Strong skills in data entry, comparison, and document formatting.
• Ability to interpret data, identify discrepancies, and compile findings into clear reports.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
