The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Athens is accepting applications for a full-time Building Construction Associate Instructor position on the Main Campus in Athens, TN. The role requires a minimum of 37.5 hours per week and involves classroom instruction, course development, and student advising.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED; a post-secondary credential in Building Construction Technology and/or an associate degree are preferred, along with relevant construction

Qualifications

Associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Facilitate classroom instruction; monitor student progress and grades; provide academic assistance and advising.
Develop and update course materials; select texts and resources; revise syllabi as needed.
Engage in professional development and participate in faculty evaluation processes.
Assist students with job placement and participate in recruitment and orientation activities.
Participate in college governance, accreditation, and budgeting discussions and maintain relationships with industry partners.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or administration.
