JOB PURPOSE

In this role, you will help unleash the power of innovation to drive SheaMoisture into a billion-dollar brand. You will be responsible for bringing SheaMoisture premium deodorant offerings to life. You will lead the cross functional team through the innovation process on these collections, the artwork development and all the corresponding 7OA and e-comm assets/with Social First assignments. You will also be expected to contribute to the larger strategic innovation projects for customers beyond Shea Moisture as needed (e.g. Value Chain opportunities).

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

  • Lead internal project cross-function teams to develop, from concept to production, deodorant collections every year.
  • Champion & advocate to deliver on the unmet needs of our Black, Melanin Rich Consumer from formulation to pack to ssets.
  • Bring an eye for design and keep your pulse on trends to influence future launches and innovation roadmaps.
  • Visibly Showcase Strong organizational skills. You will need to juggle multiple projects with varying launch dates simultaneously and be the owner of the Shea Moisture Deodorant IPT and ensuring all critical networks deliver ON TIME by managing expectations of Cross Functional Team AND Leadership.
  • You will also be 100% responsible for leading and communicating the brand budget to your boss, managing sample needs and other tactical needs that may arise by understanding the needs from management and helping to balance priorities as new information arises. You will need an understanding of brand development levers i.e., trends, consumer behavior, fragrances, packaging, PO mgmt, Agency Needs, project must haves vs. nice to haves, etc..

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
  • Bachelors Degree with 3+ years of experience in innovation, design, and broadbased communication.
  • Business acumen and maturity to adjust with dynamic market & internal transitions. Communication Mastery and the ability to manage expectations for disruptive success.
  • Experience in leading cross functional innovation projects, ensuring they are aligned to market requirements and launch on time with excellence.
  • Proven skills in Performance with budget management/POs, IPT leadership in performance projects and/or innovation launches.
  • A good balance of strategic, analytical, and creative skills with the ability to focus on what is important and necessary to get priorities delivered. Understanding of Beauty & Personal Care market is a plus.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $86,080 to $129,120. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
