DELTA |v| Forensic Engineering in Charlotte, NC seeks an Associate Biomechanical Engineer to support investigation, analysis, and reconstruction of motor vehicle crashes. The role blends fieldwork with in-office analysis, applying biomechanics principles to document scenes and evaluate vehicle dynamics. Ideal candidates hold a Ph.D.

(preferred) or M.S. in Engineering with injury biomechanics focus; CAD/FE tools experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. (preferred) or M.S. in Engineering with emphasis on Injury Biomechanics.
• Knowledge in Biomechanics, Injury Causation, and Injury Threshold.
• Experience in CAD, FE modeling and computational simulation is highly desired.
• Available to travel regionally and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in investigation, analysis, and reconstruction of motor vehicle crashes.
• Apply engineering principles and analytical tools to document accident scenes and evaluate vehicle dynamics.
• Support development of science-based conclusions through fieldwork and in-office analysis.
