Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement legal defenses for Workers’ Compensation cases.
• Manage a caseload of approximately 90-100 cases, including related files.
• Conduct legal research and analyze complex issues.
• Draft and argue petitions.
• Represent clients at hearings, trials, arbitrations, and alternative dispute resolutions.
• Collaborate with Claims Partners to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Participate in team meetings and file reviews to refine legal strategies and improve client service.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school and active license in California.
• Legal internship or Law Clerk experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Workers’ Compensation laws is a plus.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
• Effective planning and execution skills.

Additional Information:

This role is primarily remote, with travel expected 1-4 days per week within Los Angeles, Marina Del Rey, Van Nuys, and Oxnard, CA. We offer flexible work arrangements and a casual work environment.

Compensation:

The annual base salary range is $81,840 - $122,760, based on market analysis and individual experience. Compensation includes potential bonuses, incentives, and recognition programs. Actual pay may vary depending on performance and competencies.
