The role covers general liability, product liability, premises liability and catastrophic injury cases, with emphasis on depositions, discovery, motion practice and pre-trial preparation; the candidate should have strong research and writing skills.

Excellent academics and bar admission required.

Qualifications

• Excellent academic credentials from a reputable law school.
• Admission to the Colorado Bar.
• Extensive experience in all aspects of litigation.
• Exceptional legal writing and communication skills.
• Effective oral advocacy skills.

• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of 10-20 matters.
• Investigate claims and develop case strategies.
• Draft and respond to discovery requests.
• Review and analyze documents for production.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Draft and submit pleadings and motions.
• Attend hearings and argue motions.
• Prepare pre-trial and trial documents.
• Prepare cases for mediation/trial and participate in mediation/trial.
• Report effectively to clients.
