Trueline's client, a national litigation firm, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their team in Chicago. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop litigation skills and manage cases in a collaborative environment focused on toxic tort and product liability.

What You'll Do As The Associate Attorney

1. Handle day-to-day management of assigned cases
2. Draft pleadings, discovery documents, and motions
3. Conduct legal research and analysis
4. Take and defend depositions
5. Communicate with clients and insurance carriers
6. Participate in mediations and arbitrations
7. Work collaboratively within a team while taking ownership of projects

Must-Haves As The Associate Attorney

1. Active Illinois law license
2. Civil defense litigation experience
3. Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills
4. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and complex legal issues
5. Excellent interpersonal and presentation abilities
6. Proactive approach to assignments and case management

Nice-To-Haves As The Associate Attorney

1. Dual licensure in surrounding states (IN, MO, WI, OH, MI)
