Job summary

Jobot is seeking CA licensed attorneys with 2-5+ years of defense experience in student services, disabilities, special education, Title IX/UCP, and Section 504 matters. The role offers a hybrid schedule, collaborative culture, and opportunities for advancement within a leading Am Law 200 firm.

Qualifications

• CA licensed attorney with 2–5+ years of defense experience in education-related matters.
• Experience handling Student Services, Disabilities, Special Education, Title IX/UCP, and Section 504 issues.
• Experience working with school districts, charter schools, SELPAs, and county offices.

Responsibilities

• Provide defense litigation services in the listed areas (Student Services, Disabilities, Special Education, Title IX/UCP, Section 504).
• Advise clients on compliance and dispute resolution with OAH, CDE, OCR as applicable.
• Collaborate with public and private sector clients to manage cases and strategy.

Job Details

We are seeking CA licensed attorneys with 2-5+ years of defense experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Student Services
• Disabilities
• Special Education
• Title IX and UCP
• Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973
• Experience working with school districts, charter schools, SELPAs, and county offices
• Litigation and interactions with California Office of Administrative Hearings (OAH), California Department of Education (CDE) and Federal Office for Civil Rights (OCR) regarding disability and discrimination matters

Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per year
