Job summary

Robertson, Anschutz, Schneid, Crane & Partners, PLLC is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its national creditors’ rights and real estate practice. The role is on-site in Greenville, SC or Boca Raton, FL, with the ability to organize workloads, meet deadlines, and deliver precise pleadings and client-ready work products.

The candidate must hold a Juris Doctor, be admitted to the SC Bar, and thrive in a fast-paced, volume-based environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive review of conditions precedent to filing; review of loan documents, financials, and demand letters.

• Exercise confidentiality and professionalism.

We are seeking a candidate with the ability to organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines, exhibit meticulous attention to detail, produce accurate and high-quality work product in a fast-paced volume-based environment. The candidate must be able to work independently and possess strong interpersonal and analytical skills. SC Bar Required.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and includes our benefits package. Location for position, on site at either at the Greenville, SC office OR the Boca Raton, FL office.

Specific Job Responsibilities:

• Comprehensive review of all conditions precedent to filing of the action, including review of loan documents, financials, and demand letters
• Draft and review pleadings and correspondence to initiate actions
• Attend court hearings and communicate with opposing counsel
• Ensure all internal systems are updated to include findings, documentation, and recommendations
• Exercise a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism
• Safeguard compliance with local, state, and federal foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections requirements, as applicable

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Intermediate to advanced-level computer and general office skills; strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively communicate through both verbal and written electronic correspondence
• Demonstrate an excellent ability to analyze corrective action opportunities and present recommendations
• Meticulous analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently

Required Education and Training:

• Juris Doctor
• Bar membership in SC
• Basic principles of Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control strongly preferred
