Patenaude & Felix, APC invites an Associate Attorney to join our civil litigation team in a full-time role. You will assist senior attorneys, draft pleadings and motions, and help with discovery, court appearances, and trial preparation while gaining hands-on experience early in your career.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar license.
• 3+ years civil litigation experience.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Support senior attorneys in handling civil litigation and related matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, legal correspondence, and discovery documents.
• Appear in court on routine matters and assist with trial preparation and trials.
• Conduct legal research and stay current with applicable statutes and case law.
• Review case files and assist in developing case strategy.
• Maintain case management systems and ensure accuracy of legal documentation.
• Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel under supervision.
• Collaborate with legal staff to meet deadlines and court requirements.

Your Role: Key Responsibilities
