Job summary

Parnalllaw seeks an experienced attorney with 5+ years in personal injury or insurance defense to join our team in Albuquerque, NM. We offer substantial base pay with a robust benefits package and relocation support to help you relocate smoothly.

Successful candidates will collaborate across intake, investigations, negotiations, and litigation, advocating effectively for injured clients while maintaining a balanced, client-centered practice.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of personal injury or insurance defense experience.
• Willingness to relocate to Albuquerque, NM with relocation assistance.
• Strong desire to work as part of a team to advocate for injured clients.

Responsibilities

• Intake / First Meeting with Clients: Show compassion, document facts, outline action items.
• Investigation: Direct investigations, assess insurance coverage, gather evidence.
• Negotiation: Prepare cases for trial, negotiate with adjusters, file suit when necessary.
• Litigation: Prepare pleadings and discovery, plan for trial, mediation, or arbitration.
• General Responsibilities: Review and sign correspondence, collaborate to move cases efficiently.

Responsibilities

Intake / First Meeting with Clients

• Show compassion and build trust.
• Document all facts pertinent to liability, damages, and coverage.
• Outline client and office action items to posture the case effectively.

Investigation

• Direct investigations to build strong cases for trial.
• Assess insurance coverage and gather critical evidence.

Negotiation

• Prepare cases for trial while evaluating Full Settlement Value.
• Maintain relationships with adjusters while negotiating aggressively and strategically.
• File suit when necessary and guide clients through the litigation process.

Litigation

• Prepare pleadings and discovery for lawsuits.
• Strategize and execute trial preparations, mediation, or arbitration.

General Responsibilities

• Timely review and sign correspondence drafted by team members.
• Collaborate effectively to ensure cases move efficiently through the process.

• Top Pay: $200,000–$400,000 annually (base salary + performance bonuses paid twice monthly).
