Position Overview

The ideal candidate will have significant experience independently handling files from intake through closing or resolution. You should be confident communicating directly with clients, attorneys, and stakeholders, while managing deadlines efficiently. The role offers a flexible hybrid schedule with opportunities to work from home and in either our NYC or Bronx office.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate contracts of sale, leases, operating agreements, and related legal documents
• Manage residential and commercial real estate transactions from contract to closing
• Handle estate planning matters including wills, trusts, Medicaid planning, probate, and administration
• Advise clients on business formation, operations, and compliance issues
• Appear for closings and court proceedings as needed
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys and support staff to meet firm goals

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Admitted to practice in New York State
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Comfortable with client-facing work and managing multiple active matters
• Familiarity with title, ACRIS, Surrogate’s Court procedures, and transactional software a plus
• Hybrid work flexibility
