ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY - REAL ESTATE (COMMERCIAL & RESIDENTIAL)- Princeton, NJ

Hill Wallack LLP is seeking an Associate Attorney based out of the Princeton, NJ office for its real estate group to support a growing residential real estate practice. The ideal candidate should have 2+ years of real estate experience and be an excellent communicator, as well as a pro-active, energetic, and hardworking team player. The candidate must have the ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment and possess exceptional oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Duties will include drafting, reviewing and negotiating residential real estate transactions with focus on residential real estate purchase and sale agreements; drafting, reviewing and negotiating ancillary documents (attorney review, hold harmless agreements, inspection agreements, clearing title issues and the like); communicating directly with clients, and counseling them on transactional strategies and offering legal risk assessments; supporting transactions and due diligence.

Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Should be a strong analytical thinker
  • Strong academic record
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple projects
  • Ability to independently manage and supervise due diligence processes
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and to interact directly with clients
  • Licensed to practice in the State of New Jersey
  • Possess a J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Admission in New York is a plus but not required
