Associate Attorney - Plaintiff First Party Property (Remote)

This role is for an experienced associate attorney with 6+ years of litigation experience, specifically in first-party property insurance claims. The position is remote, with a salary range of $140,000 to $185,000 per year, and requires admission to the Ohio bar.

Responsibilities

• Handle a variety of insurance cases, primarily first-party property claims.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, briefs, motions, and discovery documents.
• Represent clients in pre-trial proceedings, trials, arbitrations, mediations, and hearings.
• Develop defense strategies, negotiate settlements, and advise on case resolution.
• Stay updated on laws, court procedures, and regulations relevant to insurance litigation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and courts.
• Manage multiple cases efficiently and participate in business development activities.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Ohio.
• At least 6 years of litigation experience with a focus on first-party property insurance claims.
• Proven success in insurance case litigation.
• Excellent research, writing, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficient in legal research tools and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently.
• Strong ethical standards and integrity.
