Job Responsibilities

• Handle a variety of insurance cases, primarily first-party property cases.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, briefs, motions, and discovery.
• Represent clients in pre-trial proceedings, trials, arbitrations, mediations, and hearings.
• Develop defense strategies, negotiate settlements, and recommend case resolutions.
• Stay updated on laws, court procedures, and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, counsel, judges, and team members.
• Manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Participate in business development activities to expand the client base.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Ohio.
• At least 6 years of litigation experience focusing on first-party property insurance claims.
• Proven success in representing insurance clients.
• Excellent research, writing, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient with legal research platforms and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to handle a high-volume caseload independently.
