Our prestigious law firm is seeking a dynamic, passionate, and experienced Permanent Associate Attorney to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to delve into the heart of the legal industry, working on high-profile cases and providing top-notch legal services to our clients. If you have a keen interest in premises liability and civil litigation, along with the ability to handle challenges with enthusiasm, we would like to meet you. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in the legal field, with a proven track record in handling complex cases, excellent negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of legal principles and procedures.

Pay is DOE 100-130k for 3-5 years of experience and 150k+ for attorney 6+ years of out school with book of business or exceptional experience

Responsibilities

• General Case Management
• Draft responsive pleading and motions
• Respond to Discovery
• Attend Court Proceedings
• Conduct Depositions
• Conduct Research and secure expert witnesses
• Examine legal data to determine the advisability of defending or prosecuting a lawsuit.
• Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
• Advise clients concerning business transactions, claim liability, advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits, or legal rights and obligations.
• Gather evidence to formulate defense or to initiate legal actions, by such means as interviewing clients and witnesses to ascertain the facts of a case.
  
  

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience as an attorney, specifically with premises liability and civil litigation.
• Experince with Medical Malpractice, Transportation, Long Term Car/Nursing Home Defense or Premises Liablity is a plus
• Exceptional ability to develop and implement legal strategies.
• Excellent negotiation, research, and communication skills.
• Strong analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of professional ethics and integrity.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
