Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Newberg, OR seeks an Associate Attorney to develop litigation and case management skills while working closely with experienced attorneys in a team-focused firm.

The role involves drafting pleadings, reviewing documents, legal research, and client communications; require JD from an accredited law school and active Oregon or Washington bar membership, dual licensure preferred. Onsite work with a potential hybrid arrangement after the initial training period.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in Oregon or Washington; dual licensure preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong academic credentials and research abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Draft and prepare legal documents, pleadings, discovery requests, and motions.
• Review, analyze, and organize case-related documents.
• Manage multiple case files and monitor deadlines for timely progression.
• Conduct legal research and summarize findings effectively.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
• Develop and manage a growing caseload with senior attorney guidance.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff in a team-oriented environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support client representation and firm operations.
