Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., LPA seeks an Associate Attorney to resolve client issues through routine negotiation and litigation. The role requires fundamental legal knowledge and an Ohio license to practice law, with responsibilities across discovery, drafting, and strategic case development.

You'll represent clients in various proceedings, uphold ethical standards, and collaborate to support the firm’s community presence and client service excellence.

Formación

• J.D. and 0–2 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret complex documents and regulations.
• Must hold a current Ohio license to practice law.
• Knowledge of FDCPA and consumer protection statutes.

Responsabilidades

• Negotiate and litigate to resolve client issues as assigned.
• Research laws, prepare opinions, and draft briefs and pleadings.
• Represent clients in legal proceedings with ethical standards.
• Develop and implement case strategy and manage deadlines.
• Interviews clients and witnesses; conduct discovery per rules.
• Maintain client relationships and provide professional service.
