A law firm seeks a skilled Labor & Employment Associate Attorney to join its team in Las Vegas, Nevada. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of civil litigation experience and be licensed to practice in both Nevada and California. This role offers the opportunity to handle a variety of labor and employment matters, including single-plaintiff cases and wage-and-hour class litigation. Duties

  1. Represent clients in labor and employment disputes, including wage and hour class actions and single-plaintiff cases
  2. Provide comprehensive legal counsel on a range of employment law issues
  3. Actively engage with clients, ensuring effective communication and fostering strong professional relationships
  4. Manage litigation cases, from discovery to trial preparation, under the guidance of senior attorneys
  5. Contribute to business development efforts and participate in the firm’s long-term strategies
  6. Collaborate within a team-focused environment, offering insights and support in complex legal matters

Requirements

  • Must be licensed to practice law in both Nevada and California
  • At least two years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on labor and employment law
  • Strong background in employment law, including wage and hour issues
  • Experience managing litigation cases independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
