Protouch Staffing seeks a full-time Associate Attorney to join its Family Law Practice Group in Cleveland. You will work with experienced practitioners to represent clients in divorce, custody, support, and other domestic-relations matters.

The role emphasizes advocacy, effective communication with clients, and strong case-management skills. You will have opportunities to appear in court, draft pleadings, and grow within a supportive litigation team.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in Ohio and in good standing.
• 1-5 years of litigation experience; family law experience preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and client-relations abilities.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and settlement conferences.
• Conduct legal research and analysis and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and memoranda.
• Prepare disclosures, discovery, separation agreements, parenting plans, and other legal documents.
• Develop case strategies with supervising attorneys and manage case deadlines and calendars.
• Communicate with clients regarding case status, strategy, risks, and potential outcomes.
• Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation and other ADR proceedings.
• Review and analyze documents and evidence and assist with depositions and hearings.
• Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with court rules and legal standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and settlement conferences.
• Conduct legal research and analysis and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and memoranda.
• Prepare disclosures, discovery, separation agreements, parenting plans, and other legal documents.
• Develop case strategies with supervising attorneys and manage case deadlines and calendars.
• Communicate with clients regarding case status, strategy, risks, and potential outcomes.
• Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation and other alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
• Review and analyze documents and evidence and assist with depositions and hearings.
• Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with court rules and legal standards.
