The Austin office of this Texas based law firm is seeking an associate attorney with experience in Environmental and Administrative Law. This is an exceptional opportunity to join our well-established legal team, where you will play a critical role in handling complex litigation matters related to environmental and administrative law. Responsibilities

• Represent clients in complex litigation matters related to environmental, land use, and administrative law.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, appeals, agreements, and contracts.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external counsel to manage case progression and ensure optimal outcomes.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on environmental and administrative law matters, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Participate in negotiations, mediations, and settlement discussions, advocating effectively for clients' interests.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Stay current on developments in environmental and administrative law, applying relevant changes to current cases and legal strategies.
  
  

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school, and licensed in Texas .
• 2-5 years of experience in environmental and/or administrative law, with a focus on complex litigation.
• Active member in good standing with the State Bar.
• Demonstrated experience in handling complex litigation matters, including trial experience.
• Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to handle intricate legal and factual issues.
• Excellent interpersonal and client service skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and cases simultaneously.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
• Commitment to uphold and adhere to ethical and confidentiality standards.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
