Job summary

We Are Legal Revolution, a well established full service firm recognized in Legal 500 for corporate work, seeks a 3 to 5 year Entrepreneurial Ventures Associate to join its Dallas, TX office on a hybrid basis.

This corporate focused role offers direct access to sophisticated venture capital and emerging company work, with meaningful responsibility on complex transactions and exposure to client facing experiences across a national platform.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of corporate law experience at a respected law firm.
• Hands-on experience executing venture capital transactions and emerging company work.
• Familiarity with NVCA guidelines and standard venture documentation.
• Active Texas Bar membership or ability to gain admission promptly.
• Ability to be in the Dallas office at least 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support corporate transactional work for venture capital funds and emerging company clients.
• Draft, review and negotiate venture financing documents, including NVCA based agreements and ancillary contracts.
• Advise on capitalization, governance and general corporate matters across the company lifecycle.
• Interface directly with clients and opposing counsel, managing workstreams and driving deal execution.
• Collaborate with partners and cross office teams, with opportunities to build sector focus in AI and life sciences.

The Role

Ideal Candidate Profile

The firm is seeking a 3 to 5 year Entrepreneurial Ventures Associate with:

• 3 to 5 years of corporate law experience from a respected law firm platform
• Hands on experience executing venture capital transactions and emerging company work
• Familiarity with NVCA guidelines and standard venture documentation
• Active Texas Bar membership or ability to gain admission promptly
• Ability to be in the Dallas office at least 3 days per week
• $225,000 to $420,000 base salary, depending on experience
• Performance based bonus opportunity
