Our client, a highly respected national labor and employment law firm, is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join its Employment Litigation practice in Jacksonville. This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated attorney to handle sophisticated employment disputes while working closely with employers on complex workplace matters. Candidate Profile

• JD from an accredited law school with a strong academic record
• Active Florida Bar admission, in good standing
• 4-7 years of substantive employment litigation experience
• Experience handling employment-related disputes involving claims of discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, wage and hour matters, and other workplace-related issues
• Strong experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and related litigation documents
• Experience taking and defending depositions
• Experience appearing in state and federal courts, as well as arbitration proceedings
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
• Experience providing employment counseling and advice to management teams is preferred
• Large law firm or employment boutique experience preferred
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
