  • 3-7 years of labor and employment litigation experience.
  • Experience handling employment-related disputes including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, wage and hour matters, and other workplace-related issues.
  • Experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses.
  • Experience taking and defending depositions.
  • Experience appearing in state and federal courts, as well as arbitration proceedings.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Experience providing employment counseling and advice to management teams is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Represent employers in a broad range of employment litigation matters in state and federal courts, administrative proceedings, and arbitration.
  • Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct witness interviews, legal research, and case analysis.
  • Take and defend depositions and assist with trial and hearing preparation.
  • Develop litigation strategy and work directly with clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Advise employers on employment law compliance and workplace risk management issues.
  • Collaborate with attorneys across the firm's labor and employment practice on complex matters.
  • Manage case files and litigation deadlines from inception through resolution.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated attorney to handle sophisticated employment disputes while working closely with employers on complex workplace matters. The role offers meaningful litigation responsibility, client interaction, and long-term growth within a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.

Candidate Profile
  • JDfrom an accredited law school with a strong academic record
  • Active Massachusetts Bar admission, in good standing
  • 3-7 years of substantive labor and employment litigation experience
  • Experience handling employment-related disputes involving claims of discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, wage and hour matters, and other workplace-related issues
  • Strong experiencedrafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and related litigation documents
  • Experience taking and defending depositions
  • Experience appearing in state and federal courts, as well as arbitration proceedings
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills

  • Large law firm or employment boutique experience preferred

Compensation & Benefits
