Job summary

O’Hagan Meyer seeks an attorney with at least 3 years of civil litigation experience to join our Hermosa Beach office. The ideal candidate will handle a wide range of civil litigation matters involving employment, business/commercial litigation, professional liability, premises liability, and/or directors & officers defense.

This is an ideal opportunity for an attorney looking to handle cutting-edge topics for sophisticated clients. Admission to the California bar is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in civil litigation (preferred employment or commercial litigation).
• Ability to conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other documents; take/defend depositions.
• Trial preparation and trial assistance; experience in state and federal courts preferred.
• Excellent communication with clients and colleagues; willingness to travel for court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, site inspections, and depositions.

• 3+ years of experience in civil litigation (preferred experienced in employment or commercial litigation)
• This role requires legal research, drafting of pleadings motions and other documents, taking and defending depositions, drafting and answering discovery requests, trial preparation and trial assistance. Experience with both state and federal courts preferred.
• This position also requires the ability to communicate with both clients and colleagues in an effectively.
• This position will require some local travel for court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, site inspections and depositions.
• Admission to the state bar of California required.

Salary Range: $155,000 to $200,000
