Job summary

You will draft and argue motions, take depositions, and represent clients in trial, arbitration, and mediation, with direct access to firm partners.

You will manage your docket, maintain strong client communication, and provide strategic advice grounded in real litigation experience.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of civil litigation experience
• Drafting and arguing motions that hold up in court
• Confidence navigating the California court system
• Skilled at depositions and witness examinations
• Excellent written and verbal communication; clear expression of complex ideas
• Strong analytical instincts and good judgment
• Independent work and teamwork ability
• Background in construction or casualty claims is a plus

Responsibilities

• Draft and file motions, pleadings, and discovery with precision and persuasion
• Represent clients in trials, arbitrations, depositions, and mediations
• Keep clients and insurers informed and confident throughout the process
• Deliver sound legal advice grounded in real litigation experience
• Own your docket and manage day-to-day litigation tasks while meeting billable targets
