Associate Attorney - Civil Litigation Defense (Mostly Remote Option)

Prominent national law firm seeks a Litigation Associate to join their thriving practice. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills and at least 2 years of litigation experience in one or more of the following areas: Professional Liability, Premises Liability, Construction, NY Labor Law, Medical Malpractice, General Tort, Product Liability, Transportation, General Liability, Personal Injury, Civil Litigation, Employment.

The role offers the opportunity to work on diverse matters, including venue liability litigation related to recreational venues, arenas, amusement parks, etc. The position provides an option to work 4 days remotely and 1 day onsite at their midtown NYC office.

Responsibilities:

• Handle cases from inception to conclusion
• Take and defend depositions
• Court appearances
• Draft motions, pleadings, and respond to discovery

Qualifications:

• Strong research and writing skills
• 2+ years of litigation experience
• Must be licensed and in good standing in NY
• Bar admission in NJ, PA, or CT is a plus

Base salary ranges from $115,000 to $175,000, plus generous bonuses and full benefits. The position is mostly remote or hybrid.
