Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Grand Rapids, MI seeks an Associate Attorney to join a dynamic team specializing in retail creditor's rights and civil litigation. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of experience and will contribute to all aspects of file generation and litigation.

Applicants must be licensed in Michigan, hold a Juris Doctorate, and pass a thorough background review. Travel regionally to courts within Michigan is expected, with strong written and verbal communication and analytical skills

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in creditor's rights and civil litigation.
• Licensed attorney with good standing, Bar admission in Michigan.
• JD required with eligibility to practice in Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement case-level litigation strategy.
• Represent clients zealously at court proceedings.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff for efficient case management.
• Negotiate settlements and defend against counterclaims.
• Monitor and educate team members on legal changes.
• Travel regionally to appear at courts throughout Michigan.
