Job summary

gpac partnered firm seeks an experienced litigation associate in California to handle civil matters and support a growing team. The position offers a hybrid schedule with 2 on-site days at Los Angeles, Irvine, San Francisco, or Walnut Creek locations.

Requirements include 2+ years of civil litigation, active California Bar, and strong writing/advocacy skills. Pro-bono hours are encouraged and remote work is possible for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Licensed in good standing with the California State Bar.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule – 2 days on-site (LA, SF, OC or Walnut Creek).
• Excellent writing and oral advocacy skills.
• Significant experience in discovery and law and motion practice.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work with multiple clients.

Responsibilities

• Litigate civil matters and manage a diverse caseload.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and internal memoranda.
• Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
