Job Description:

A full service creditor's rights law firm with a national bankruptcy practice is seeking an attorney with experience representing secured creditors in consumer Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy cases.

Ideal candidates are located in New York, or within commutable distance. A qualified candidate must have a working knowledge of the Bankruptcy Code and Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure. However, we are open to training the right team-oriented candidate with less experience. License to practice law in New York.

Specific Job Responsibilities:

• Primarily manages bankruptcy routine matters
• Draft and review all pleadings and claims filed in the particular matter
• Attends scheduled hearings
• Responds to general firm wide bankruptcy inquiries
• Review filings on behalf of the clients
• Monitoring of all electronic filings (ECFs)
