Job description

Our client, an established 15-attorney law firm in Wichita, is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney interested in developing their legal skills, exploring different practice areas, and building a practice of their own.

The firm's diverse practice includes commercial and consumer litigation, aircraft finance, automobile dealer law, business and corporate matters, bankruptcy, tax foreclosure, family law, and other areas.

Newly licensed attorneys are welcome to apply. Prior legal experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and develop legal strategies.
• Draft pleadings, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Work directly with clients and negotiate with opposing counsel.
• Participate in hearings and litigation.
• Manage assigned matters and take increasing responsibility as experience develops.
• Develop client relationships, referral networks, and areas of legal expertise.
