Job summary

Atrium seeks a Transactional Associate Attorney in West Palm Beach to handle a broad range of real estate and corporate transactional matters from deal inception to closing. The attorney will draft and negotiate complex agreements, coordinate closings, and support business development while working closely with clients and teams.

Florida Bar in good standing is required. The role requires 5–10 years of practice, independent deal management, and strong drafting skills.

Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of experience as a practicing attorney in a law firm
  • Strong experience in real estate and/or corporate transactional law
  • Ability to independently manage deals and communicate directly with clients
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Licensed and in good standing with the Florida Bar

Responsibilities

  • Handle a variety of real estate and corporate transactional matters from inception through closing, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and related legal documents to protect client interests
  • Manage real estate transactions, including purchase/sale agreements, title matters, and closings, coordinating all necessary steps
  • Assist clients with entity formation, including LLCs and corporations, and prepare related filings
  • Work closely with clients on business-oriented legal matters, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the process
  • Coordinate with title companies, lenders, and other third parties to facilitate smooth transactions
  • Support and eventually take ownership of an existing book of business, contributing to firm growth
  • Maintain strong client relationships and actively participate in business development efforts

Position Overview

The Transactional Associate Attorney will handle a wide range of real estate and corporate transactional matters, providing strategic legal guidance to clients from deal inception through closing. This role involves drafting and negotiating complex agreements, managing transactions, and supporting business development initiatives. The attorney will collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to ensure successful outcomes. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Required Experience/Skills
  • 5–10 years of experience as a practicing attorney in a law firm environment
  • Strong experience in real estate and/or corporate transactional law
  • Ability to independently manage deals and communicate directly with clients
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Licensed and in good standing with the Florida Bar
Preferred Experience/Skills
  • Experience with title, closings, and transactional workflows
  • Understanding of entity formation and corporate structures (LLCs, corporations, etc.)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in long-term practice growth and succession
  • Strong client relationship management and business development skills
Education Requirements
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active Florida Bar membership in good standing
