Job summary

Impact Legal Group in Woodbridge, Virginia hires an Attorney for immediate hands-on experience and growth. The firm handles immigration matters with a satellite location in Fredericksburg, VA and plans to expand.

The successful candidate will conduct client intake, represent before USCIS and EOIR, prepare filings, communicate with clients, and coordinate with staff to meet deadlines. License in MD/VA and strong written and oral skills are required.

Qualifications

• JD degree from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice in Maryland or Virginia
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to balance and prioritize a high-volume workload
• Ability to work with a diverse staff
• Spanish or French language is a plus (not required)

Our firm has an immediate opportunity for an Attorney. We are looking for a self-motivated and energetic professional that is looking for a hands-on experience and professional growth. We are a client-focused firm located in Woodbridge, Virginia with a satellite location in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Impact Legal Group, PLLC is primarily an Immigration law firm founded in 2020 with plans to grow in other areas of law including Criminal and Family Law.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Client Intake
• Advise and Represent clients before USCIS and the EOIR
• Review, prepare, and file applications based on reliefs
• Attending EOIR and Local Maryland Court
• Communicate with clients
• Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations
• Work extensively with staff to meet deadlines and client’s needs
• Preparing briefs and memorandum of law
• Develop and share subject matter expertise with staff.

Additional information:

Our office hours are 9-5:00 M-F, all candidates must be able to work these hours.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000 to $100,000.00 per year
