Job summary

Protouch Staffing seeks an Arizona-licensed Associate Attorney to join a probate and trust administration practice. The firm is open to attorneys with limited probate experience who want to develop their skills, as well as experienced practitioners who can independently manage a caseload.

This role offers remote, hybrid, or in-office options with the Lake Havasu City, Arizona office. The level of responsibility will depend on experience, and strong writing, communication, and organizational

Qualifications

• Active Arizona State Bar membership in good standing.
• Probate and/or trust administration experience preferred, but attorneys with limited experience are encouraged to apply.
• Strong legal writing, sound judgment, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex legal matters clearly.
• Strong organization and follow-through.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Google Drive, PDF tools, and learning new technology.
• Experience with AI-assisted legal tools is a plus.
• Litigation experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Handle probate and post-death trust administration matters from opening through closing.
• Draft and review petitions, notices, correspondence, and other administration documents.
• Advise personal representatives and trustees regarding their responsibilities.
• Address creditor claims, asset issues, distributions, and administration deadlines.
• Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, opposing counsel, and courts.
• Collaborate with the legal team and review paralegal work product.
• Identify legal issues and assist with resolving complications.
• Depending on experience, assist with or handle contested matters and court appearances.
