Job summary

Ascendo Resources seeks a Litigation Attorney with 2+ years of Property & Casualty litigation experience and an active South Carolina Bar license. Ideal candidates have firsthand experience handling first-party property claims and related insurance disputes, in a collaborative environment with support to move cases efficiently.

Responsibilities include managing a caseload of P&C matters, drafting pleadings and discovery, taking depositions, mediations, and court appearances.

• Strong writing skills
• Confident in depositions, negotiations, and managing deadlines

What You’ll Do

• Manage a caseload of property and casualty litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and discovery (requests/responses)
• Take and defend depositions (parties, witnesses, experts)
• Attend/lead mediations and settlement conferences; negotiate resolutions

Required Qualifications

• Competitive base salary ($100,000 - $120,000 commensurate with experience)
• Monthly performance bonuses tied to settlement amounts
