Job Title: Associate Attorney

About the Role:

Our client is a well-established San Francisco-based litigation firm seeking Associate Attorneys with experience in medical malpractice or insurance defense. they represent healthcare professionals, hospitals, and insurers in complex litigation matters. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly respected team with a strong legacy in healthcare law and civil defense.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload involving medical malpractice or general insurance defense litigation
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Take and defend depositions
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and trials
• Develop litigation strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys and clients
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses
• Work in a team-oriented, high-volume environment

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in California
• 2–3 years of experience with Medical Malpractice OR Insurance Defense Cases
• Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Experience in healthcare or insurance defense is highly desirable
