Job summary

D'Andre Law LLP in San Diego is seeking an associate attorney with at least 1 year of Workers' Compensation defense experience. The role is 99% remote with occasional in-person court appearances, primarily at the San Diego WCAB.

You must reside within 100 miles of San Diego for trials and hearings, with a strong emphasis on reliability and transportation. The salary ranges from $115,000 to $180,000 base, plus a lucrative monthly bonus and full benefits.

Job description

Workers' compensation defense firm with 10 offices throughout California is seeking an associate attorney with preference for 1+ year of experience as a Workers' Compensation attorney in our San Diego office.

This position will be 99% remote with occasional in-person court appearances.All candidates must be located within a reasonable geographical distance for in-person trials and hearings located at the San Diego WCAB. Please only apply if you are located in San Diego County or willing to relocate within 100 miles of the San Diego WCAB office. Case load will be dedicated to the San Diego WCAB venue with little to no need to travel out of venue. Reliable mode of transportation is required.

Pay: Salary will be commensurate with experience plus attorney bonus program and full benefits package. Salary range is $115,000.00 - $180,000.00 base pay plus a lucrative monthly bonus program.

Job Duties:

As a workers' compensation defense associate, your duties include, but are not limited to:

• Manage and advocate a full caseload from assignment through completion

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 Year experience as a California applicant or defense attorney working all facets of a workers' compensation case, including conducting depositions, hearings, trials, and appeals. We are willing to train the right candidate that needs additional trial/hearing experience.
