W3Global in San Antonio, TX seeks an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join its litigation team. The candidate will manage cases from discovery through trial prep and work closely with the lead shareholder and clients.

The ideal candidate is a proactive litigator with strong research and writing skills, able to work independently yet collaborate with opposing counsel and the judiciary. Texas Bar active and 2+ years of insurance defense required; 3+ years preferred.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Texas Bar license required.
• Minimum 2 years of insurance defense litigation experience; 3+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage insurance defense cases from initial investigation and discovery through trial preparation and court proceedings.
• Take and defend depositions, attend hearings, mediations, and arbitrations, and participate in settlement negotiations.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, legal briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop effective case strategies.
• Review and analyze documentary, video, and physical evidence.
• Prepare detailed case reports, summaries, and client updates.
• Collaborate with the lead shareholder and other attorneys on litigation strategy and trial preparation.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other stakeholders.

A growing law firm in San Antonio is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join its litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with at least 2 years of insurance defense experience who is ready to manage cases, work closely with the lead shareholder, and take an active role in all phases of litigation.
