Responsibilities

• Handle foreclosure, bankruptcy, eviction, collections, and related litigation matters
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, settlements, and legal correspondence
• Attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances as needed
• Provide strategic legal analysis and case recommendations
• Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal laws, regulations, and client requirements
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to efficiently manage caseloads
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, trustees, and vendors regarding case status and resolution

Job description

A growing law firm representing financial institutions is seeking an Associate Attorney with 4-10 years of experience in creditors' rights, foreclosure, bankruptcy, mortgage default, or related civil litigation. This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse caseload, appear in court, develop litigation strategy, and work directly with clients in a fast-paced, high-volume practice, that offers a fantastic work like balance.

Responsibilities:

• Handle foreclosure, bankruptcy, eviction, collections, and related litigation matters
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, settlements, and legal correspondence
• Attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances as needed
• Provide strategic legal analysis and case recommendations
• Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal laws, regulations, and client requirements
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to efficiently manage caseloads
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, trustees, and vendors regarding case status and resolution

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active Arizona state bar license
• 4-10 years of experience in creditors' rights, foreclosure, bankruptcy, mortgage servicing, or civil litigation
• Strong litigation, legal writing, and case management skills
• Experience handling court appearances and motion practice
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet strict deadlines
• Experience representing financial institutions, mortgage servicers, or creditor clients is a plus
