We are hiring an Attorney for our Health Care Practice Group. This position is open to remote candidates. Firm offices in nine locations, including Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.

When our clients need guidance on regulatory compliance and government inquiries, business matters, or representation in litigation, hearings, and appeals, we work closely with them to anticipate issues and find solutions. We assist with matters related to governmental oversight, reimbursement, licensure, labor and employment, antitrust, governance, fraud and abuse, medical staff, privilege, physician-hospital disputes, and business transactions. We also provide counsel and representation in audits and investigations as well as confidentiality, privacy, security, and technology matters.

Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on most of the following health care laws and concepts including but not limited to Anti-Kickback Statute; Stark Law; HIPAA/HITECH; EMTALA; HCQIA/peer review; Medicare and Medicaid regulations; state licensing laws for health care facilities and health care professionals; corporate practice of medicine.

• Advise clients on all aspects of health care transactions

• Describe complex issues in clear language and provide excellent client support

Requirements

• 3-5+ years in health care law with corporate or regulatory background

• Juris Doctor and admittance to the Pennsylvania Bar

• Admittance to New Jersey bar a plus
