  • Proficient research skills for case development, motion practice, and opinion drafting using legal research tools.
  • Effective negotiation skills for mediation, settlements, and client-focused dispute resolution.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and active license (or eligibility) to practice in Oklahoma.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with attention to drafting and reviewing legal documents.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters, prioritize deadlines, and work collaboratively in a litigation-oriented environment.
  • Prior litigation experience, judicial clerkship, or internships in a law firm are beneficial.

Role Description The Associate Attorney is a full-time, on-site role based in Oklahoma City, OK. This position involves drafting and reviewing pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents, as well as conducting legal research to support litigation and counseling matters. The Associate Attorney will analyze case facts, develop legal strategies, provide legal advice, and negotiate on behalf of clients in labor and employment and other law-related disputes. Day-to-day duties include communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and courts; preparing for and attending hearings, depositions, and mediations; and collaborating with partners and colleagues to manage case progress. The role also includes maintaining accurate case files, meeting deadlines, and upholding the firm’s standards of ethical and professional practice.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Law, with the ability to analyze statutes, case law, and regulations relevant to civil litigation.
Experience or coursework in Labor and Employment Law, including handling workplace-related disputes, compliance issues, and risk management.
Ability to provide clear, practical Legal Advice to clients, translating complex legal issues into actionable guidance.
Proficient Research skills for case development, motion practice, and opinion drafting, using legal research tools and databases.
Effective Negotiation skills for mediation, settlement discussions, and resolution of disputes in a client-focused manner.
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and active license (or eligibility for licensure) to practice law in Oklahoma.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with attention to detail in drafting and reviewing legal documents.
Ability to manage multiple matters, prioritize deadlines, and work collaboratively in a litigation-oriented environment.
Prior litigation experience, judicial clerkship, or internships in a law firm or similar setting are beneficial.
