Responsibilities

• Assist with criminal and family law matters from intake through resolution.
• Appear in court and participate in hearings and other legal proceedings.
• Work directly with an experienced attorney to develop practical legal skills.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents.
• Draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other court filings.
• Meet with clients and assist with ongoing client communication; develop case management and courtroom skills.
• Learn Oklahoma district court practices and procedures.
• Support case strategy and preparation as experience develops.
• Take on increasing responsibility and independence over time.

A growing multi-office Oklahoma law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their team in Ada, OK. This is an excellent opportunity for a recently licensed or early-career attorney to gain meaningful courtroom experience, receive direct mentorship from an experienced attorney, and build a strong foundation in Oklahoma criminal and family law.

What You'll Do as the Associate Attorney:

• Assist with criminal and family law matters from intake through resolution
