Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and procedures.

  • Strong verbal and written communication with clients.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal technology platforms.
  • Experience using case management and document management software.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage an independent caseload involving judicial foreclosure, title clearance, and related real estate matters.
  • Review foreclosure documentation to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
  • Interpret and analyze loan documents, foreclosure pleadings, and title records to identify legal issues and recommend resolutions.
  • Review title reports, examinations, and related documents, identifying title defects and providing recommendations to clients.
  • Research, evaluate, and resolve simple and complex title issues in a timely manner.
  • Prepare, review, and revise legal opinions, correspondence, pleadings, reports, and other foreclosure-related documentation.
  • Provide legal analysis and recommendations regarding foreclosure, title, and compliance-related matters.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, vendors, opposing counsel, court personnel, and internal stakeholders regarding case status and strategy.
  • Exercise independent judgment in evaluating legal risks, compliance concerns, and file-level issues.
  • Collaborate effectively with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient file management and client service.
  • Maintain strong professional relationships with clients, vendors, and business partners.
  • Monitor case progression and ensure timely movement of files through the foreclosure and title clearance process.
  • Participate in training initiatives, industry events, and additional projects as needed.
  • Travel occasionally to attend court proceedings, client meetings, trainings, or industry conferences.
