Role Description The Associate Attorney will work full time on-site in Leesburg, FL, supporting the firm’s legal practice through case management, client interaction, and legal research. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting pleadings, motions, contracts, and other legal documents, as well as reviewing and analyzing case files and supporting documentation. The role involves providing legal advice under the supervision of senior attorneys, preparing for hearings and negotiations, and participating in strategy discussions. The Associate Attorney will communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders, maintain organized case files, and ensure deadlines and procedural requirements are met. This position offers opportunities to develop expertise in labor and employment law and other practice areas handled by the firm.


Qualifications


  • Strong foundation in Law, with the ability to interpret statutes, regulations, and case law and apply them to client matters.
  • Knowledge of or interest in developing subject-matter expertise in litigation-related legal issues.
  • Ability to provide clear and practical Legal Advice under supervision, with sound judgment and client-focused reasoning.
  • Proficiency in legal Research, including use of legal databases, case analysis, and preparation of research memoranda.
  • Effective Negotiation skills for handling settlements, agreements, and discussions with opposing parties.
