Duties
- Advocate for clients in and out of court during the legal collection process.
- Draft and review legal briefs, correspondence, pleadings, and other documents.
- Communicate with opposing counsel and pro se parties to resolve disputes.
- Document account and file activity per firm and client policies.
- Travel to various courts in the state and manage all aspects of litigation.
- Research and interpret laws, rulings, and regulations.
- Maintain and develop client relationships through responsive communication.
- Attend continuing education classes to stay informed of legal changes.
Requirements
- Active attorney license in the state of Nevada with no discipline history.
- Experience in consumer collection litigation preferred; training available.
- Knowledge of civil litigation and consumer protection laws.
- Superior time management and prioritization skills.
- Leadership skills to motivate and drive team results.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
