Hooks, Meng & Clement (HMC) is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our growing Southern Nevada office. HMC focuses its practice on Industrial Insurance Litigation, representing a diverse client base that includes employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators. This position offers an exceptional opportunity for a motivated attorney to build and refine litigation skills while working closely with experienced practitioners in a highly specialized area of law. Responsibilities
  • Represent clients in court and before government agencies.
  • Draft legal documents and correspondence, and conduct thorough legal research on each case.
  • Strategize and plan with clients and cases, ensuring meticulous attention to detail.
  • Maintain case files using the electronic case management system, Filevine.
  • Build and maintain strong, long‑lasting client relationships.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, Nevada statutes and regulations.
  • Work efficiently under pressure in a fast‑paced environment and under multiple deadlines.
  • Meet or exceed the monthly billing requirement using electronic legal billing software, Clio.
Qualifications
  • Member in good standing with the State Bar of Nevada.

Compensation
