Job description

Mandarich Law Group, a leading creditor's rights law firm with offices across multiple states, is seeking an Associate Attorney for our Jackson, MI office.

What You'll Do:

  1. Draft and review legal documents such as Summons & Complaints, Judgments, Settlement Agreements, and Discovery.
  2. Prepare litigation motions and responses, including drafting, reviewing, and filing as necessary.
  3. Communicate with attorneys, employers, and consumers to resolve accounts and legal matters.
  4. Review lawsuits and legal pleadings.
  5. Coordinate court coverage by reviewing and requesting coverage for court calls, attaching necessary documents, and managing orders for coverage.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Michigan; additional licenses in other states (SC, IA, MO, KS, NY, NV, NE, ID, CA, WA, OR, AK, HI, NC) are a plus.
  • Comfortable appearing in court and punctual, with reliable transportation.
  • Willing to travel; travel expenses reimbursed according to IRS mileage rates and firm policies.
  • Strong multitasking, verbal, and written communication skills for handling a high-volume caseload.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
