Job summary

Lether Pacific Law Group in Honolulu is opening a brand-new office and seeks attorneys licensed in Hawaii to join our growing team. You'll work directly with partners on complex insurance coverage and litigation matters in a boutique firm that values training and client service.

The office is hybrid with remote work available depending on experience. We offer competitive pay and full benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO and holidays.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice in Hawaii
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Experience in insurance coverage and complex litigation preferred

Responsibilities

• Partner with attorneys on insurance coverage and litigation matters
• Manage cases from start to finish including drafting pleadings and motions
• Conduct legal research and analyze case law, statutes and policy language
• Prepare and respond to discovery, review claims files and documents
• Take and defend depositions; argue motions; prepare for mediations and hearings
• Contribute to trial preparation and case strategy

What You'll Do

• Partner with attorneys and team members on a wide range of insurance coverage and litigation matters.
• Manage cases from start to finish, including drafting pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
• Conduct legal research and analysis of case law, statutes, regulations, policy language, and factual records.
• Prepare and respond to discovery, review claims files and case documents, and analyze coverage issues.
• Take and defend depositions; argue motions; prepare for and attend mediations, hearings, and client or expert meetings.
• Participate in trial preparation and contribute to case strategy and execution.
