Job summary

The Denver, Colorado office of Hall Booth Smith, P.C. (HBS) is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Data Privacy and Cybersecurity practice.

Job description

The Denver, Colorado office of Hall Booth Smith, P.C. (HBS) is growing and is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join its expanding Data Privacy and Cybersecurity practice group. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team, work alongside experienced litigators, contribute to case strategy and development, and build strong relationships with firm clients.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2-4 years' experience in litigation focusing on data privacy and technology, and data privacy compliance. Candidates must be active members in good standing of the Colorado Bar.

Responsibilities
  • Represent and defend clients in hearings, trials, and depositions regarding data privacy and technology litigation matters
  • Counsel clients on compliance and data privacy laws, and effectively communicate with clients on cases, providing consistent updates and comprehensive legal advice
  • Draft and negotiate data privacy agreements and data security policies
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2-4 years' experience in data privacy and technology litigation and data privacy compliance and contracts
  • Active membership in good standing with the Colorado Bar
  • Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills
  • Strong interest in attending trial and utilizing litigation skills
  • Ability to develop and execute defense litigation strategies, exercise sound judgment, and effectively manage case responsibilities
Compensation

Salary ranges from $140,000 to $160,000, commensurate with experience, two bonus structures, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
