Job Description:

Remus, Weddle & Cavenee, LLC (“RWC”), a small civil law firm located in downtown Frederick, Maryland, seeks an associate to join the firm’s business litigation practice.

RWC routinely represents clients in state and federal court in Maryland, but its attorneys have previously represented clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic. The firm’s practice areas include business torts, contract disputes, corporate control battles, professional (legal) malpractice, intellectual property, real estate, civil and constitutional rights, defamation and libel, labor and employment, and construction law.

As a member of a small firm, the associate will be entrusted with an immediate opportunity to work in all phases of litigation. The ideal candidate is highly professional and self-motivated, with strong legal writing, research, and advocacy skills. Judicial clerkship experience is preferred. This is a great position for an entry-level attorney seeking to work on sophisticated business litigation, while also joining a small firm that prides itself on camaraderie and professional development.
